If you use our services then, it will be regarded as your consent to the terms and conditions. On the contrary, if you don’t intend to give your consent to the terms and conditions then you should abstain from using the website.

Forbidden Uses

The company has come up with its website to offer a superior air travel experience to its customers. Unlawful activities on the website like the ones mentioned below are strictly prohibited.

  • Intention to harm or damage anyone
  • Using for business or trading other than private use
  • To spread, protect, unrestrained, forbid publicizing, limiting time, or any kind of similar asking for spam
  • Violating the terms of use.

Value

We reserve the right to make any changes in the prices of our services displayed on the website without any prior warning. Only after the purchase has been completed and the tickets issued can the airfare be confirmed. The rates levied by the airlines and other travel suppliers can be changed by them and that too without any prior warning.

If a price rise comes into effect once the reservation has been confirmed and if it affects your travel package then we will notify you of the price rise before initiating any action. However, no price rise will impact your travel package once you are done with your reservation.

If not stated to the contrary, all the reservations are non-refundable. If you have to cancel your reservation for some reason you are advised to contact us and we will do everything within our means to help you. However, you must understand that even if your cancellation is refundable you would be charged an administrative cancellation fee of USD 200.00 for every traveler on international flights, USD 300.00 for trans-border flights between USA and Canada, and USD 150.00 for domestic flights.

All reservations are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. If you find that you must cancel a reservation for any reason, please contact us. We will do all we can to assist you in this process. However, please be aware that even if your cancellation is allowed and your reservation is thus refundable, it may be subject to an administrative cancellation fee of USD 200.00 per passenger for international flights, USD 300.00 for trans-border flights between the USA and Canada, and USD 150.00 for domestic flights.

For Bookings within the US even in the Case of Non-Refundable Tickets

You can cancel your booking on the same day before midnight, however, do note that the move will involve cancellation fees.

It must be noted that the Basic Economy tickets and Promotion tickets of the airlines fall under the non-refundable category and therefore cannot be canceled.

Unless stated otherwise, all the reservations are non-transferable. It must be noted that any request for a change in your reservation will come with a price that can be $150.00 for every passenger on domestic flights, $200.00 for trans-border flights, and $300.00 for all other flights. Moreover, any third-party suppliers added to the reservation can also levy fees or price differences.

No name change request will be entertained once the reservation is finalized. In case of any name change the buyer will have to cancel his earlier reservation (if allowed) and go for the fresh reservation. It should be noted that such a move can result in fees and penalties. It is therefore advised to double-check every information before finalizing the reservation.

The charges levied at the time of ticket purchase are valid only in case the ticket is utilized and the flight segments are used in sequential order on the stated dates. In case of any misuse might result in the entire trip being invalidated and canceled.

The pricing is exhibited in US currency.

Payment and Flight Information and Confirmation

Certain banks and credit card companies charge for global transactions. These transactions are registered on the credit or bank card statement as foreign or global transaction fees. For instance, if a travel reservation is finalized through our website from outside the US using a U.S. credit card, your bank might convert the payment amount to the currency of your country and charge you a fee for their service. The amount of the fees registered on your credit or bank card statement might be in the local currency and differ from the booking amount displayed on the billing.

Additionally, a foreign transaction fee might be charged if the bank that issued the credit card is based outside the US.

The bank or the credit card company might consider international travel bookings through our website as global transactions as we might pass your payment over to a global travel supplier.

The bank or credit card company determines the currency exchange rate and the foreign transaction fee amount on the day the transaction is processed. In case of any doubt about such fees or the exchange rate applied to the transaction, the concerned person should connect with the concerned bank or bank or Credit Card Company.

Booking notification

Once the purchase is finalized, an e-mail with the subject line “Booking Notification” will be issued. Your booking might fetch you a confirmation number before the issuance of the ticket. In such a case, the booking process is not complete and the fare might change till the time the ticket is issued. Once the ticket is issued the electronic ticket would also be on the way.

General

If any court or other legal authority finds our terms and conditions to be unenforceable then the concerned art would be removed.

If no action is taken in response to any violation then it cannot be believed to be a waiver for the violated terms and conditions and does not impinge our right to take action in response to violations.

In this Agreement, the term “website” also includes any e-mail bulletins or other content that you receive through this website or otherwise initiated from this website.

Governing Law

In case of any dispute regarding the interpretation or application of these Terms and Conditions and/or this Agreement, or because of the use of this website, we reserve the right to select the applicable legal jurisdiction and venue.

Site Usage and Ticket Purchase

The company’s terms and conditions enable any individual above the age of 18 to use our website and avail of our services. In case someone is using the service for another person then it is his responsibility to explain and make the other person understand our services and the terms and conditions.

Booking Policy

  • The rates exhibited on the website include all the taxes levied by the government.
  • In case of a rise in the rates of the air tickets, a mistake due to the server error, payment gateway issue, etc. enables theflightsearch.com to withdraw the ticket and forfeit the amount received as cancellation charges. The difference in the amount has to be deposited in theflightsearch.com’s account right after the communication with the company.
  • It is obligatory to pay the whole amount before the confirmation of your booking.
  • In case of booking a ticket for an infant, he must be below 2 years of age and there should be all the valid documents proving his age. If the infant exceeds the age limit then a separate booking for him has to be made.
  • It is also obligatory that during re-check the infant is accompanied by an adult who exceeds him by at least 18 years.

The tickets/bookings issued will comply with the terms and conditions of the respective airlines/suppliers.

Booking Confirmation

Once the customer is done with the booking procedure, he/she will receive a confirmation email as well as the booking number. Through this confirmation email, the contract related to the services will come into existence for both the customer and the supplier. This confirmation email will provide all the relevant details of the booking. Customer should ensure whether their booking is correct or not as the system can err. So, check it once before proceeding with the payment process. Regarding “Special Requests” options are available for (meals, child seats, and disabled). Travel suppliers would certainly attend to such special requests.

- Multi-city trips - Service fees are up to $100 per passenger on all passenger type tickets.
- Multi airline trips / Cities with high fraud rates - Service fees are up to $30 per passenger on all
passenger type tickets.
- Our service fees on certain airlines may be up to $35 per passenger

- Contact Center booking service fees: Service fees for contact center bookings
(including complex multi-stop and round-the-world itineraries) may be higher than those charged for bookings made online. These service fees can range from $10 to $200 per passenger.
Contact Center bookings include premium package benefits.


Some Exceptions to the above Service Fees:

  • Online vacation package booking service fees can go up to $50 for every person.
  • For the services of Business and First Class Airfares, the fees can go up to $100 for every passenger on all passenger-type tickets.
  • Service fees for multi-city trips can go up to $100 for every passenger on all passenger-type tickets.
  • Service fees for multi-airline trips to cities with high fraud rates can go up to $30 per passenger on all passenger-type tickets.
  • On certain airlines, our service fees may go up to $35 for every passenger.
  • For contact center bookings (including complex multi-stop and round-the-world itineraries), the service fees might exceed than online bookings and can be anywhere from $10 to $200 for every passenger.
  • Contact Center bookings are inclusive of premium package benefits.

Booking Amendments and Charges

We may levy some charges as per the airline’s directive which may differ by flight and the booking class. The amendment charges may also change from one airline to the other, flight and ticket type. Request regarding the changes need to be raised 72 hours before the departure. Time duration however can change from airline to airline so the customers would do well to double-check with customer care for correct information.

Cancel & Exchange

Aircraft tickets are mostly non-refundable. In a few instances where the carrier agrees to cancellation, a credit has to be considerable against the upcoming ticket by the same traveler on the same airline. The airlines follow their policy of credit termination date which cannot be used after its expiry. So, in case of cancellation, it will be of interest for the customers to check the limitations with customer care. Cancellation of tickets has to be carried out before the flight takes off otherwise the cancellation is not certain. If you are willing for a fresh reservation and are willing to use the airline credit, then you will have to undergo the difference in the fare if that is the case. Such strategies and policies are framed by the management of the carriers, which are beyond our control.

We are willing to accept the refund requests only if the applicant has followed the following conditions:

  • If the rules allow for cancellation and refunds;
  • Do not consider yourself to be a "no show" (most "no show" purchases do not offer any waiver from suppliers for refund processing); and
  • We can get you waivers from the suppliers to process the applied cancellation and refund.

A timeline cannot be set for when the refund request will be processed. Once the request has been made to the customer service agent an e-mail notification is sent regarding the receiving of your request. However, it does not entitle you to a refund. It is just an acknowledgment of your application and offers you a tracking number.

Once the refund request is received the coordination with the suppliers like the airlines, hotels, and car-rental companies starts to create a waiver based on the rules and regulations of the airline and other suppliers, and then the decision is passed over to the applicant.

Our service fees are linked with the original travel reservation or booking and are not refundable. It should always be kept in mind that we rely on the suppliers for the receipt of the funds requested. Once the supplier approves the refund it might take some more time to appear on the credit card statement of the applicant.

Mostly the suppliers levy a penalty for a refund. The entire process might take 60-90 days from the receipt of the request to receiving the credit on the statement. Other than the penalty imposed by the airlines and other suppliers, thetravelsbookings.com will also charge a post-ticketing services fee as per the terms and conditions.

All refund fees are charged based on a one-passenger, one-ticket basis. These fees will only be evaluated if a refund has been sanctioned by the supplier or relinquishment has been received and when the rules of the airline/supplier allow such refunds.

If such a refund is not processed by the supplier, we will then refund you our post-ticketing service fees which apply to your agent-assisted refund request, but not our booking fees for the original travel reservation or booking.

The company accepts requests based on the guidelines listed below:

  • If the ticketing fares are open for the cancellation of a specific booking,
  • You should not be a NO SHOW passenger. In such a case, you are a NO SHOW and you would not be allowed to board the airline, in such a case you would not be eligible for a refund.
  • If a refund is allowed, it would, at the most, take up to 21 working days.

Payment Policy

We allow credit and debit cards from prominent countries including the US, Canada, etc.

  • All costs would appear in U.S. dollars.
  • We might accept the payment in two different transactions which would include Airline Base Fare and Taxes. However, the aggregate sum remains the same.
  • Once the payment is accepted, the ticket purchased is guaranteed. If the payment is not received, the notification will come within 24 hours.
  • If the details of the credit card are disapproved by the verification department, the booking will not be processed.

Visa and Entry Requirements

The customers are suggested to check the travel documents (transit visa/entry visa) of the country through which they are transiting and/or entering. Dependable info about global travel can be found on govt. website as well as with the consulate/embassy of the country(s) one is going to or departing. We cannot be held accountable if the relevant travel papers are not available and the person is stopped from entering or transiting into a country.

Your transaction with us is in no way an assurance of entering a country. Travelers must understand that we do not accept any accountability for ensuring that a passenger is eligible to enter or transit through any particular country. Information, if any, provided by us needs to be confirmed with the concerned government authorities.

ETA for Canada

Travelers who transit through Canada might need an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA). An automated system that will allow Canadian authorities to check the passengers before they arrive in the country and check their eligibility to enter Canada and whether their arrival poses any threat to Canada.

Credit Card Declines

While processing the transaction, the user's credit card can be canceled for myriad reasons. We always try to inform you regarding such developments through an e-mail within 72 hours. It should be noted that in case of the credit card being declined, the transaction will not be processed. We offer no guarantee for the fare change or any other booking details. If there is a fare change from the TSP, we offer the user(s) an alternative of either accepting or canceling the booking.
